Pres. Hyun delivered a Plenary Lecture at IPMEC 2005

Dr. Kun Sup Hyun, President of Polymer Processing Institute and Research Professor of the New Jersey Institute of Technology gave a Plenary Lecture on the subject of “ The Role of Independent Research Institute on the Development of Polymer Products and Processes” at International Polymer Materials Engineering Conference 2005 held in Shanghai, China during September 18-21, 2005. The conference was sponsored by 9 Research Institutes in China and attended by the world experts in polymer materials and processing.

DR. GOGOS RECEIPIENT OF SPE’S MOST PRESTIGIOUS AWARD

Dr. Costas G. Gogos, President Emeritus of the Polymer processing Institute and Distinguished Research Professor of the New Jersey Institute of Technology has received the 2005 SPE International Award. This award was presented annually to recognize outstanding achievements by distinguished individual in the plastics field.

Dr. Gogos presented a plenary lecture, “Polymer Engineering Taking Stock of the Past, a Look at the Present, and Pondering the Future” at 1:30 pm on Monday, May 2^nd at ANTEC in Boston. His lecture was a part of the Fellows Forum, which focused on ”Innovation and the Plastics Industry”.
